FORFEIT OF RECALL RIGHTS. An employee who declines recall to a position with fewer hours or a lower pay rate shall forfeit his/her rights to that specific position, but not to other positions and/or future recalls. An employee who declines recall to a position with equal or greater hours and at least the same rate shall automatically lose all recall rights and rights to employment.
FORFEIT OF RECALL RIGHTS. Employees bumping successfully who thereafter successfully bid for a promotion to a classification with the same or higher maximum pay rate as the classification from which they were laid off, shall forfeit recall rights to the classification from which they were laid off.
