Further Leave. (11) If an employee takes a leave under this section and the individual referred to in subsection (3) does not die within the period referred to in subsection (2), the employee may, in accordance with this section, take another leave and, for that purpose, the reference in subsection (6) to “the first certificate” shall be deemed to be a reference to the first certificate issued after the end of that period. 2004, c. 15, s. 3.

Further Leave. An employee may apply for further leave subject to Article 18.2. An employee who wishes to take maternity leave or adoption leave and also take parental leave shall take the two (2) leaves consecutively.

  • Other Leave Granting of leave is a matter between the employees and the mill management. The Company will consider length of service and will endeavour to arrange leave of absence to suit the employee's wishes. Employees with ten or more years service will be given special consideration.

  • Other Leaves The parties agree that employees covered by this Memorandum of Understanding are subject to other County authorized leave provisions including but not limited to: military leave, disaster leave, leave for civil service examinations and leave for school or child day care program activities.   • Other Leaves of Absence In the event that you are on a bona fide leave of absence, not otherwise described in this definition, from which you have not returned to employment with the Company or an Affiliate, your Separation from Service has occurred on the first day on which your leave of absence period exceeds six months or, if earlier, upon your termination of employment (provided that such termination of employment constitutes a Separation from Service in accordance with the last sentence of the first paragraph of this definition).

  • Unused Personal Leave Since a number for the available personal leave days has been established, a basic discussion will need to be had regarding unused personal leave days. Naturally, these differ from vacation days since the Employer will not always be required to pay the Employee when personal leave is taken. If a dollar amount will be attached to each personal leave day that is unused so that it can be paid to that Employee then, select the first checkbox presented in the list of options provided and record the dollar amount that shall be paid for one unused personal day.   • INJURY LEAVE In the event an unusual circumstance exists regarding the original six (6) months of injury leave, and the employee did not use injury leave hours due to the injury or did not lose work time, the Fire Chief with the approval of the Human Resources Director may extend such injury leave. However, under no circumstances shall the total time granted be greater than twelve (12) months of injury leave, or an actual six (6) months of lost work time because of the injury.
