GENERAL PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain relations between the Company and its employees, to provide a method of prompt and equitable settlement of grievances, and to establish and maintain mutually satisfactory working conditions, hours, and wages of all employees who are subject to the terms of this Agreement. It is mutually understood and agreed by the parties hereto that this Agreement cancels and replaces all previous Agreements between the Company and the Union.
