Common use of Graduation Leave Clause in Contracts

Graduation Leave. 20.06 Where operational requirements permit, in the opinion of the Board, leave with salary will be granted for a period of up to and including three (3) days to attend the graduation of the employee, a spouse, child, parent, brother, sister or grandchild of an employee or of an employee’s spouse when the ceremony takes place outside of Yellowknife. The employee shall be charged a fee equal to the current substitute pay for each of the additional days that may be approved by the Board. A full day will be available if the graduation is in Yellowknife.
