Grandparented Employees. Employees in a higher Pay Grade than that indicated in Section 27.01 for the position they hold as of November 30, 1987, shall remain in that Pay Grade, unless they bid into a lower job title, and continue to progress along the wage scale for the Pay Grade they currently hold. This Section shall not be interpreted to prohibit an Employee from bidding on a job in the Employee’s current location or in another location if the Employee is bidding on a position that carries the same job title as the Employee’s current position, is not more than one (1) Pay Grade less than the Pay Grade the Employee is currently in, and the location into which the Employee is bidding is willing to accept the Employee at the Employee’s current Pay Grade.

Grandparented Employees. While not to be included in the Collective Agreement, effective the date of ratification of the Memorandum of Agreement, the Employer and the Union agree that: “Once per year, and no later than January 31st, the Employer will provide the Union with a list containing the name and classification of each employee who is covered under the “Grandparented Hourly Ratesset out in Schedule A of the Collective Agreement.”

  • Retired Employees A. Employees who retire under the Florida Retirement System shall be eligible, upon request, to receive on the same basis as other employees the following benefits at the University, subject to University Regulations and policies:

  • Birth Father and Adoptive Parent An employee who is the birth father, the adoptive father or the adoptive mother shall be entitled to up to thirty-seven (37) consecutive weeks of parental leave without pay. The employee shall take the leave within fifty-two (52) weeks of the child's birth or date the child comes within the care and custody of the employee.

  • Children/Grandchildren An employee may purchase life insurance in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) as a package for all eligible children/grandchildren (as defined in Section 2A2 and 2A3 of this Article). For a new employee, child/grandchild coverage requires evidence of insurability if application is made after the initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. An employee who becomes eligible for insurance may purchase child/grandchild coverage without evidence of insurability if application is made within thirty (30) days of the initial effective date as defined in this Article. Child/grandchild coverage commences fourteen (14) calendar days after birth.

  • Per Diem Employees Section 1. A per diem employee is one that works on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the provisions of this article. Per diem employees will not be guaranteed to work a specific number of hours or a specific number of shifts per time block.

  • Grandchildren A dependent grandchild is an eligible employee’s unmarried dependent grandchild who:

  • Children For the purposes of the Trust the children of the Grantor are as follows: ______________________________________________________________.

  • Spouse The spouse of an eligible employee (if legally married under Minnesota law). For the purposes of health insurance coverage, if that spouse works full-time for an organization employing more than one hundred (100) people and elects to receive either credits or cash (1) in place of health insurance or health coverage or (2) in addition to a health plan with a seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750) or greater deductible through his/her employing organization, he/she is not eligible to be a covered dependent for the purposes of this Article. If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.

  • Current Employees Employees who are eligible to participate but not deferring shall have Elective Deferrals withheld in the amount of ______ % of Compensation or $_________ of Compensation. Employees and Participants shall have the right to amend the stated automatic Elective Deferral percentage or receive cash in lieu of deferral into the Plan.

  • Child A biological, adopted, or xxxxxx child, stepchild, legal xxxx, conservatee or a child who is under eighteen (18) years of age for whom an employee stands in loco parentis or for whom the employee is the guardian or conservator, or an adult dependent child of the employee.

  • Deceased Employees The employer may approve a cash payment equivalent to the two lots of two weeks' salary to the widow, widower or if no surviving spouse exists, to dependent child(ren) or to the estate, of a deceased employee who had qualified for long service leave but who had neither taken nor forfeited it under these rules. This payment will be in addition to any grant made under the Retirement Gratuity Provisions specified in this Agreement.
