Common use of Granting Leave Clause in Contracts

Granting Leave. A. A professional employee shall submit written notification to the immediate supervisor stating the anticipated duration of the leave at least two (2) weeks in advance if circumstances permit. Such leaves shall be granted for a period of time not to exceed six (6) months. Upon the request of the professional employee and at the discretion of the President, or designee, parental leave may be extended or renewed for a period not to exceed six (6) months.
