Grievance to Director and Manager. If the grievance is not settled at the Appointing Authority level, it may be submitted by the Association Representative within twenty (20) working days to the Director of Human Resources, who shall investigate and report his or her findings and recommendations to the City Manager within ten (10) working days. The City Manager shall provide his or her answer within ten (10) additional working days. The times indicated may be extended by mutual agreement. Any employee grievance will be filed with the Association Representative at Step 4. Following the submission of the City Manager's answer, and before going to Section 6, Advisory Arbitration, matters which are unresolved shall be discussed at a meeting between the parties during which all pertinent facts and information will be reviewed in an effort to resolve the matter through conciliation.

  • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. If the answer is not acceptable to the Employer, the Employer may, within ten (10) working days from the day the President gives her answer, give ten (10) working days notice to the President of the Local Union of its intention to refer the dispute to arbitration.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.
