Grievances by the AAUP-FA. Grievances by the AAUP-FA at the college level shall be served against the Xxxx and shall be handled in the same manner, by the same steps and timetable as set forth in the provisions of Step I relating to formal grievances by or on behalf of a faculty member. Grievances by the AAUP-FA on its own behalf shall be presented to the Xxxx within twenty (20) school days following the time that any member of the Grievance Committee of the AAUP-FA knows or reasonably should have known of the act, event, or commencement of the condition which is the basis of the grievance. The Xxxx shall communicate the Xxxx’x written decision to the President of the St. John’s Chapter of the American Association of University Professors and to the President of the Faculty Association at St. John’s University within seven (7) school days after receipt of such grievance.

  • Group Grievances No more than five (5) grievants will be permitted to attend grievance meetings.

  • Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right. B.   • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.
