HCA will pay Contractor the agreed-upon price, if separately stated, for completed work and services accepted by HCA and the amount agreed upon by the Contractor and HCA for (i) completed work and services for which no separate price is stated; (ii) partially completed work and services; (iii) other property or services that are accepted by HCA; and (iv) the protection and preservation of property, unless the termination is for default, in which case HCA will determine the extent of the liability. Failure to agree with such determination will be a dispute within the meaning of Section 4.13

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Contractor to Pay All Taxes Except for any applicable California sales and use taxes charged by Contractor to City, Contractor shall pay all taxes, including possessory interest taxes levied upon or as a result of this Agreement, or the Services delivered pursuant hereto. Contractor shall remit to the State of California any sales or use taxes paid by City to Contractor under this Agreement. Contractor agrees to promptly provide information requested by the City to verify Contractor’s compliance with any State requirements for reporting sales and use tax paid by City under this Agreement.

  • PROMPT PAYMENTS a. State Agencies Upon acceptance of Product or as otherwise provided by Contract, Contractor may invoice for payment. The required payment date shall be thirty (30) calendar days, excluding legal holidays, from the receipt of a proper invoice, as determined in accordance with State Finance Law §179-f(2) and 2 NYCRR Part 18. The payment of interest on certain payments due and owed by Agency may be made in accordance with State Finance Law §§179-d et. seq. and the implementing regulations (2 XXXXX §00.0 et seq.).

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.

  • Bilingual Differential Pay Bilingual Differential Pay applies to those positions designated by the Department of Personnel Administration as eligible to receive bilingual pay according to the following standards:

  • Leadwork Differential (a) Leadwork differential shall be defined as a differential for employees who have been formally assigned by their supervisor in writing, “leadwork” duties for ten (10) consecutive calendar days (or the equivalent thereof for alternate or flexible schedules) or longer provided the leadwork or team leader duties are not included in the classification specification for the employee’s position. Leadwork is where, on a recurring daily basis, the employee has been directed to perform substantially all of the following functions: to orient new employees, if appropriate; assign and reassign tasks to accomplish prescribed work efficiently; give direction to workers concerning work procedures; transmit established standards of performance to workers; review work of employees for conformance to standards; and provide informal assessment of workers’ performance to the supervisor.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Prompt Payment Payment shall be made in accordance with Chapter 2251 of the Texas Government Code, commonly known as the Texas Prompt Payment Act. Chapter 2251 of the Texas Government Code shall govern remittance of payment and remedies for late payment and non-payment.

  • What Will Happen After We Receive Your Letter When we receive your letter, we must do two things:

  • Balance of Payments Difficulties 1. The Parties shall endeavour to avoid the imposition of restrictive measures for balance of payments purposes.
