Common use of Health Insurance Subsidy Clause in Contracts

Health Insurance Subsidy. A joint committee shall decide on eligibility criteria, individual cap, application procedures and other such matters pertaining to the distribution of funds to be used as a subsidy towards health insurance coverage costs for adjunct faculty members acquiring insurance elsewhere. A needs based approach to the distribution of such funds shall be a priority. The College will create a pool in the amount of $14,000 for the 2021-2022 academic year from which adjunct faculty members can seek that subsidy.
