Common use of Higher Rated Job - Bidding Clause in Contracts

Higher Rated Job - Bidding. Employees going to a higher rated job through a job posting shall be placed on the schedule at the wage closest to, but higher than, the position being vacated, but in no event shall they be paid less than that received on the position being vacated. Upon placement on schedule, they shall advance on each anniversary date from the time of transfer until the maximum is reached.
