Superseniority. The President, Chapter Chairperson and elected xxxxxxx, for the purpose of layoff for lack of work or funds and recalls to work following such layoff only, for the term of their office, shall be considered as having more seniority than any other employee within their bargaining unit. They shall be the last to be laid off for lack of work from their unit and the first to be recalled to work in their unit following such layoff providing they have the then-present ability to satisfactorily perform the available work in such area without additional training.
Superseniority. For layoff purposes only, employees employed under continuing contract shall have greater seniority than employees employed under limited contract.

A. During the period a Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member is designated and serving as a Union officer, or as a Union negotiator, the Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member shall be deemed to have more seniority than all other Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members.
B. In the event that more than one Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member in a seniority pool have superseniority and are affected by an action, seniority among those Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members with superseniority shall be determined by their regular seniority.
C. Union employee representatives shall have superseniority after holding the position for more than six (6) months.
Superseniority. For reduction in force purposes only, Unit Members employed under continuing contract shall have greater seniority than Unit Members employed under limited contract.
Superseniority. For purposes of layoff and recall determination, officers and directors of the Union, not to exceed twelve (12), shall be considered to have the highest classification service in their particular classifications. The Union will furnish in writing to the University and keep current, a list of the officers and directors.
Superseniority. Superseniority protection from layoff and bumping shall be granted for a total of thirty (30) unit employees who must be members of either the Union's elected Executive Officers, the negotiating team or stewards duly designated by the Union. In no event shall more than twelve (12) unit employees in any one Department be granted superseniority.
