Hiring and Direction of Staff. The Employer agrees that in the event the hiring of an Employee to fill any available position in the bargaining unit, the bargaining unit shall be entitled to select one (1) designate to sit as an ex-officio member of the hiring committee. The Employer further agrees that the work of any Administrative Assistant, Support Staff, or other positions shall be carried out in consultation with the Staff Representatives. It is further understood that Part-Time Employees shall be supervised by the Chair of the Local (or designate).

Hiring and Direction of Staff. 3.06.1 The employer agrees that the hiring of any Administrative Assistance, Support Staff, or other positions with Local 3913, shall be held in consultation with the Staff Rep and the Staff Rep agrees to be a member of any hiring committee.
