Common use of Holiday on Day Off Clause in Contracts

Holiday on Day Off. When any of the above noted holidays fall on an employee’s scheduled day off, the employee shall receive another day off with pay within sixty (60) days after the holiday except at Christmas and New Years at a time mutually agreed upon between the employee and the Employer. In the event that a day within sixty (60) days cannot be mutually agreed upon then the Employer may pay the employee the holiday pay to which she is otherwise entitled in the pay period in which this obligation arises, in the alternative to scheduling another day off with pay.

In the event that a day within sixty (60) days cannot be mutually agreed upon then the Employer may time or pay the employee the holiday pay to which she is otherwise entitled in the pay period in which this obligation arises, in the alternative to scheduling another day off with pay.

Holiday on Day Off. When any of the above noted holidays fall If a holiday falls on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive another day an alternate date off with pay which shall be scheduled with department approval and should be taken within sixty (60) 30 days after following the holiday except at Christmas holiday. Holidays occurring during a period of vacation or sick leave shall be paid as they occur and New Years at a time mutually agreed upon between the employee and the Employer. In the event that a day within sixty (60) days canshall not be mutually agreed upon then charged with vacation or sick leave for the Employer may pay the employee the holiday pay to which she is otherwise entitled in the pay period in which this obligation arises, in the alternative to scheduling another day off with payholiday.

In the event that a day within sixty (60) days cannot be mutually agreed upon then the Employer may pay the employee the holiday pay to which she is otherwise entitled in the pay period in which this obligation arises, in the alternative to scheduling another day off with payholiday.
