Common use of Holiday on Day Off Clause in Contracts

Holiday on Day Off. ‌ When a paid holiday falls on the day of an employee’s scheduled day off, he/she shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the paid holiday.

Holiday on Day Off. ‌ When If a paid holiday falls on the day of an employee’s scheduled regular day off, he/she the employee is to receive a compensatory day· prior to or following the holiday off with regular pay. Accrued holiday pay shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the paid holidayused for such days.
