Common use of Holiday on Non-Work Day Clause in Contracts

Holiday on Non-Work Day. An eligible employee, other than a part-time employee, who works other than a Monday through Friday schedule and who is not scheduled to work on a calendar holiday will receive, as necessary operations permit, either (1) a scheduled workday off within two (2) weeks of the recognized holiday, or (2) an additional day's pay at his/her regular rate.
