Common use of Holidays Observed Clause in Contracts

Holidays Observed. ‌ If a date-specific holiday listed in Section 8.7 falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be the County observed holiday. If a date-specific holiday listed in Section 8.7 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be the County observed holiday. All other date-specific holidays shall be observed on the date specified in Section 8.7.
