Common use of Hours and Attendance Clause in Contracts

Hours and Attendance. In keeping with the experience of workplace life, students will generally keep the same hours as their accompanying salaried staff. This might mean that, in some weeks, students may work additional hours. However, over the duration of the placement the total hours worked should not exceed the Organisation’s standard hours. Prior approval is required from the University if the student is required, or wishes, to work in excess of the Organisation’s standard hours.
