HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES. 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday. 22.02 Employees may, with the approval of their immediate supervisor, choose to work a schedule other than 9:00 to 17:00 on a regular basis. 22.03 All employees are entitled to one (1) fifteen (15) minute rest period without loss of pay for each regular half day of work. 22.04 All employees are entitled to an unpaid meal period of one (1) hour during the regular work day. This meal period is ordinarily taken in the middle of the regular work day. With the prior approval of the immediate supervisor, an employee may add one (1) daily rest period to the meal period. 22.05 Employees who, on occasion, wish to exchange their established work schedules must receive prior approval from the immediate supervisor. In this event, the provisions related to overtime do not apply.
