House Keys. The key(s) that have been allocated to you will give you access to the building and to the room/s as per your Hire Agreement. • These keys are your responsibility. House Keys. You will receive a key or security code to your homestay. It is important that you take special care of the house key or safe guard the security code as it is a means to getting into the home and your host trusts you with it Many Canadians live with pets, usually cats and dogs. In Canada, pets are very clean and friendly. Please understand that there will be a much larger range of homestays if you are able to live with pets. Family pets will not enter your bedroom unless you allow them in. Please be sure to specify whether or not you are comfortable living with pets in the space provided on your application form. Student will have shared bedroom, it will have a bed and a desk with a lamp on it. For comfort, parents are expected to buy linens and warm comforters for the student. There will also be a place for you to hang your clothes and store your belongings. Your homestay host will respect your privacy and not go into your bedroom without permission, unless it is absolutely necessary. Students should clean their own rooms and empty the garbage at least once a week. You are responsible for providing your own shampoo, shower gel, and other toiletries. Students should not leave a lot of money in their rooms. For safekeeping, excess money should either be put into a bank account or changed into travellers’ cheques. Please do not eat or store food in your bedroom as this may attract insects and create a bad smell. Your bedroom may be on the main or second floor of the house, or some homestays have finished lower levels where people commonly eat and/or sleep. These rooms are fully furnished in a very nice way and are equally comfortable. It is common for most homes in Canada to take part in an energy conservation program. Here are some common ways to save energy; Turn lights out when you are not in a room, wear long-sleeved clothing or sweaters in the home during winter time, Keep showers to a reasonable length (15 – 20 minutes as a maximum). The Hosts will keep the temperature of their homes at a reasonable level during the winter time. Recycle – hosts may have separate places to put the items you want to throw out. Often, paper, tin cans and plastic items will all be sorted and put into different places. Your host will explain this to you after you arrive. Laundry facilities and detergent are included in the price of homestay. Students are responsible for washing their own clothes.   • Elevator Service If the Building is equipped with elevators, Landlord, during Normal Business Hours of Building, shall furnish elevator service to Tenant to be used in common with others. At least one elevator shall remain in service during all other hours. Landlord may designate a specific elevator for use as a service elevator.

  • Password To enable you, and only you, to use the Service, you will be asked to choose a password when you register and are accepted as a customer of the Service.   • Janitorial Services Tenant will not employ any person for the purpose of cleaning the Premises or permit any person to enter the Building for such purpose other than Landlord's janitorial service, except with Landlord's prior written consent. Tenant will not necessitate, and will be liable for the cost of, any undue amount of janitorial labor by reason of Tenant's carelessness in or indifference to the preservation of good order and cleanliness in the Premises. Janitorial service will not be furnished to areas in the Premises on nights when such areas are occupied after 9:30 p.m., unless such service is extended by written agreement to a later hour in specifically designated areas of the Premises.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Janitorial Service Landlord shall not be obligated to provide any janitorial services to the Premises or replace any light bulbs, lamps, starters and ballasts for lighting fixtures within the Premises. Tenant shall be solely responsible, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense, for (i) performing all janitorial services, trash removal and other cleaning of the Premises, and (ii) replacement of all light bulbs, lamps, starters and ballasts for lighting fixtures within the Premises, all as appropriate to maintain the Premises in a first-class manner consistent with the first-class nature of the Building and Project. Such services to be provided by Tenant shall be performed by contractors and pursuant to service contracts approved by Landlord. Tenant shall deposit trash as reasonably required in the area designated by Landlord from time to time. All trash containers must be covered and stored in a manner to prevent the emanation of odors into the Premises or the Project. Landlord shall have the right to inspect the Premises upon reasonable notice to Tenant and to require Tenant to provide additional cleaning, if necessary. In the event Tenant shall fail to provide any of the services described in this Section 6.6 to be performed by Tenant within five (5) days after notice from Landlord, which notice shall not be required in the event of an emergency, Landlord shall have the right to provide such services and any charge or cost incurred by Landlord in connection therewith shall be deemed Additional Rent due and payable by Tenant upon receipt by Tenant of a written statement of cost from Landlord.

  • Sick Leave Use An employee shall be granted sick leave with pay to the extent of the employee's accumulation for absences necessitated by the following conditions:

  • Education Records Educational Records are official records, files and data directly related to a student and maintained by the school or local education agency, including but not limited to, records encompassing all the material kept in the student’s cumulative folder, such as general identifying data, records of attendance and of academic work completed, records of achievement, and results of evaluative tests, health data, disciplinary status, test protocols and individualized education programs. For purposes of this DPA, Education Records are referred to as Student Data. Personally Identifiable Information (PII): The terms “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII” has the same meaning as that found in U.C.A § 53E-9-301, and includes both direct identifiers (such as a student’s or other family member’s name, address, student number, or biometric number) and indirect identifiers (such as a student’s date of birth, place of birth, or mother’s maiden name). Indirect identifiers that constitute PII also include metadata or other information that, alone or in combination, is linked or linkable to a specific student that would allow a reasonable person in the school community, who does not have personal knowledge of the relevant circumstances, to identify the student with reasonable certainty. For purposes of this DPA, Personally Identifiable Information shall include the categories of information listed in the definition of Student Data.

  • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district. b. An employee must initiate the sick leave verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of commencing employment with the new school district. c. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the sick leave credits which the employee seeks to port.

  • Basic Services The Architect/Engineer’s Basic Services include all disciplines identified in Article 15 and all related usual and customary design, consultant, and other services necessary and reasonably inferable to complete the Project, or any phase of the Project, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of this Agreement.
