Identification of EL students. The Academy will use the federal definition of EL as detailed in Title III and IX of the ESEA. Idaho EL program guidance will be used to support the needs of students who are EL. Students for whom English is a second language will be assessed using the EL placement test. The eligibility criteria (listed below) will be used for a Home Language Survey in order to identify the primary home language other than English. The Idaho English Language Proficiency Assessment will be used to assess English proficiency as the EL student progresses through the school.

Identification of EL students. (1) The District will ensure that all EL students are identified at each school. These procedures will: (a) Ensure home language surveys (HLS) are consistently distributed at all schools 1 The District recognizes that it can select EL program models that are appropriate for its use based upon sound educational theories and practices. The District commits to implementing such models in its schools to ensure meaningful educational opportunities for all of its EL students. OCR does not require or endorse the use of any particular program model to serve EL students. The District may select approaches, standards, and procedures for its local needs based upon sound educational judgments and practices that ensure equal educational opportunities for its EL students. and in a language and mode of communication appropriate for the parents; (b) Identify the procedures for distributing, collecting, maintaining, and reviewing the home language survey, including a description of the survey responses that will trigger an English language proficiency assessment of a student; (c) Describe a program of staff (including those involved in special education pre- referral/referral, evaluation, and placement decisions) training on how to accurately identify students with a primary or home language other than English (PHLOTE) and EL students; (d) Include timelines and procedures to ensure that the English proficiency assessments (measuring proficiency of oral, reading, comprehension, and writing domains, as appropriate to grade level) are conducted and results are available and documented in a timely and accurate manner; and (e) Specify the objective criteria for determining whether a student is EL (including objective assessment measure showing proficiency in oral, speaking reading and writing domains, as appropriate to grade level).

Related to Identification of EL students

  • Identification Cards Identification (“ID”) cards are issued by Us for identification purposes only. Possession of any ID card confers no right to services or benefits under this Contract. To be entitled to such services or benefits, Your Premiums must be paid in full at the time that the services are sought to be received.

  • Identification of Goods Identification of the goods shall not be deemed to have been made until both Buyer and Seller have agreed that the goods in question are to be appropriate to the performance of this Agreement.

  • Identification When performing work on District property, Contractor shall be in appropriate work attire (or uniform, if applicable) at all times. If Contractor does not have a specific uniform, then Contractor shall provide identification tags and/or any other mechanism the District in its sole discretion determines is required to easily identify Contractor. Contractor and its employees shall (i) display on their clothes the above-mentioned identifying information and (ii) carry photo identification and present it to any District personnel upon request. If Contractor cannot produce such identification or if the identification is unacceptable to District, District may provide at its sole discretion, District-produced identification tags to Contractor, costs to be borne by Contractor.

  • Non-Identification Approved Users agree not to use the requested datasets, either alone or in concert with any other information, to identify or contact individual participants from whom data and/or samples were collected. Approved Users also agree not to generate information (e.g., facial images or comparable representations) that could allow the identities of research participants to be readily ascertained.   • Identification of Data a. All Background, Third Party Proprietary and Controlled Government Data provided by Disclosing Party shall be identified in the Annex under which it will be provided. b. NASA software and related Data provided to Partner shall be identified in the Annex under which it will be used. Notwithstanding H.4., Software and related Data will be provided to Partner under a separate Software Usage Agreement (SUA). Partner shall use and protect the related Data in accordance with this Article. Unless the SUA authorizes retention, or Partner enters into a license under 37 C.F.R. Part 404, the related Data shall be disposed of as instructed by NASA.

  • Technical and Organizational Measures The following sections define SAP’s current technical and organizational measures. SAP may change these at any time without notice so long as it maintains a comparable or better level of security. Individual measures may be replaced by new measures that serve the same purpose without diminishing the security level protecting Personal Data.

  • Personal Identification Number We will issue you a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for use with your Card at VISA NET automatic teller machines (ATM’s). These numbers are issued to you for your security purposes. These numbers are confidential and should not e disclosed to third parties. You are responsible for safekeeping your PIN. You agree not to disclose or otherwise make available your PIN to anyone not authorized to sign on your Accounts. To keep your Account secure, please do not write your PIN on your Card or keep it in the same place as your Card.

  • Collection of Personal Information 10.1 The Subscriber acknowledges and consents to the fact that the Issuer is collecting the Subscriber’s personal information for the purpose of fulfilling this Agreement and completing the Offering. The Subscriber acknowledges that its personal information (and, if applicable, the personal information of those on whose behalf the Subscriber is contracting hereunder) may be included in record books in connection with the Offering and may be disclosed by the Issuer to: (a) stock exchanges or securities regulatory authorities, (b) the Issuer's registrar and transfer agent, (c) tax authorities, (d) authorities pursuant to the PATRIOT Act (U.S.A.) and (e) any of the other parties involved in the Offering, including the Issuer’s Counsel. By executing this Agreement, the Subscriber is deemed to be consenting to the foregoing collection, use and disclosure of the Subscriber's personal information (and, if applicable, the personal information of those on whose behalf the Subscriber is contracting hereunder) for the foregoing purposes and to the retention of such personal information for as long as permitted or required by applicable laws. Notwithstanding that the Subscriber may be purchasing the Note as agent on behalf of an undisclosed principal, the Subscriber agrees to provide, on request, particulars as to the nature and identity of such undisclosed principal, and any interest that such undisclosed principal has in the Issuer, all as may be required by the Issuer in order to comply with the foregoing. 10.2 Furthermore, the Subscriber is hereby notified that the Issuer may deliver to any government authority having jurisdiction over the Issuer, the Subscriber or this Subscription, including the SEC and/or any state securities commissions, certain personal information pertaining to the Subscriber, including the Subscriber’s full name, residential address and telephone number, the number of Shares or other securities of the Issuer owned by the Subscriber, the principal amount of Note purchased by the Subscriber, the total Subscription Amount paid for the Note and the date of distribution of the Note.

  • Distribution of UDP and TCP queries DNS probes will send UDP or TCP “DNS test” approximating the distribution of these queries.

  • Protection of Personal Information Party agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal statutes to assure protection and security of personal information, or of any personally identifiable information (PII), including the Security Breach Notice Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2435, the Social Security Number Protection Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2440, the Document Safe Destruction Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2445 and 45 CFR 155.260. As used here, PII shall include any information, in any medium, including electronic, which can be used to distinguish or trace an individual’s identity, such as his/her name, social security number, biometric records, etc., either alone or when combined with any other personal or identifiable information that is linked or linkable to a specific person, such as date and place or birth, mother’s maiden name, etc.
