Illness during Scheduled Vacation. If an employee suffers an illness or injury during her vacation leave and such illness or injury results in confinement under the care of a physician for a period of five (5) consecutive days or more, then the employee may claim the absence under her unused sick leave entitlement, and her vacation leave will be reinstated to her entitlement, or extended, subject to College approval.
