Image and MICR Quality. Each File transmitted by you to the Credit Union shall contain images of the front and the back of the Checks scanned and remotely deposited by you. Each Image of each Check shall be of such quality that the following information can clearly be read and understood by sight review of such image: a. The amount of the check; b. The payee of the check; c. The signature of the drawer of the check; d. The date of the check; e. The check number; f. The information identifying the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the check, including the MICR line; and g. All other information placed on the check prior to the time an image of the check is captured, such as any required identification written on the front of the check and any endorsements applied to the back of the check (refer to Section 4). Each image shall also meet all standards for image quality established by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. You shall also capture and transmit to the Credit Union the full-field MICR encoding on each check. In accordance with the instructions, you shall ensure that the following information is captured from the MICR line of each check: a. The American Bankers Association routing transit number (“RTN”); b. The number of the account on which the check is drawn; and c. When encoded, the serial number and the process control field of the check.

Image and MICR Quality. Each Image must provide all information on the front and back of the Original Check at the time presented to you by the drawer. Each Image of each Original Check will be of such quality that the following information can clearly be read and understood by sight review of such Image.  The amount of the Check;  The payee of the Check;  The signature of the drawer of the Check;  The date of the Check;  The Check number;  The information identifying the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the Check, including the MICR line;  All other information placed on the Check prior to the time an Image of the Check is captured, such as any required identification written on the front of the Check and any endorsements applied to the back of the Check; and Each Image must also meet all standards for Image quality established by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearinghouse or association. Endorsements must be made on the back of the Check within 1 ½ inches from the top edge, although we may accept endorsements outside this space. Your endorsement must include your signature and “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY AT CGB,” or as otherwise specified by us from time to time. Any loss we incur from a delay, processing error or any other action resulting from an irregular, incomplete or missing endorsement or other markings by you will be your responsibility. Checks made payable to multiple payees using “OR” require only the endorsement of one payee to deposit the check to an eligible account owned by the endorsing payee. Checks made payable to multiple payees using “AND” require the endorsement of all payees and the Check must be deposited into an eligible account owned by all payees. Checks submitted with incomplete or missing endorsements may be rejected for deposit.

You shall ensure the Check Images transmitted to us includes the full-field MICR encoding on each Check. You shall be responsible for the inspection of all Check Images to ensure the legibility of the Check Image including without limitation the dollar amount and signature of the person who signed the Check (the “drawer”), and for ensuring that any and all information on a paper Check is accurately captured and legible in the resulting Check Image and otherwise complies with any Check Image quality standards and guidelines that may be established by American National Standards Institute, ECCHO Rules, the Federal Reserve, other applicable regulatory agency or clearinghouse, or that we may provide to you from time to time. You acknowledge that current image technology may not capture all security features (e.g. watermarks) contained in the original paper checks, and agree to assume any and all losses resulting from claims based on security features that do not survive the image process.

Each Image shall also meet all standards for image quality established by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. Member shall also capture and transmit to AMHFCU the full-field MICR encoding on each Check. In accordance with the Procedures, Member shall ensure that the following information is captured from the MICR line of each Check:

Customer shall also capture and transmit to Bank the full- field MICR encoding on each Check. In accordance with the User Manual, Customer shall ensure that the following information is captured from the MICR line of each Check: (a) the American Bankers Association routing transit number (“RTN”); (b) the number of the account on which the Check is drawn; (c) when encoded, the amount of the Check; and (d) when encoded, the serial number and the process control field of the Check.
