Common use of In-Lieu Holidays Clause in Contracts

In-Lieu Holidays. (1) Requests for in-lieu holidays shall be made to the appropriate management representative within thirty (30) days after the holiday is earned and must be taken within the fiscal year. (2) In-lieu days will be assigned by the appointing officer or designee if not scheduled in accordance with the procedures described herein (3) An in-lieu holiday can be carried over into the next fiscal year only with the written approval of the appointing officer.
