Common use of In-Service Leave Clause in Contracts

In-Service Leave. 14.6.1 A unit member may, with the recommendation of his/her principal, be granted one (1) day of paid leave each school year for the purpose of improving his/her performance. The District may require the unit member to participate in such in-service activity. Such leave may be used to visit classes in other schools or to attend workshops related to his/her performance.
