Informal Observation. a. An informal observation is a documented observation that is not required to be pre-scheduled. Additional informal observations may be requested by either the evaluator or the teacher to collect additional evidence. b. An evaluator may conduct any number of informal observations c. Informal observations do not have to be in the classroom; department or collegial meetings may be used. d. All informal observations may be documented in writing and a copy will be provided to the teacher within five (5) work days of the observation.
