INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. A. The Committee recognizes the need for providing adequate supplies, equipment, and materials to teachers in order to assist them in the effective achievement of their responsibilities. In recognition of this need, therefore, it is agreed that by October 15th of each year all staff members will be given an opportunity to express, in writing, their needs for supplies, equipment, and materials for the following year. Their request will be given to the Principals and Department Coordinators, who will compile all of the requests and forward them intact to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Superintendent or his/her designee will compute the total cost of all requests and present the total request to the Committee not later than December 15th.

INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. The District will provide paper and District-adopted curriculum materials. The district recognizes the need to provide equitable and appropriate curriculum, instructional supplies/resources and equipment and will solicit member recommendations for such items when annual budgets are developed. If the District-adopted curriculum does not adequately meet the format and needs of the classroom the District will develop a plan to create supplemental materials, which could include extra pay for a team of members at the professional service rate or provided additional sub-days, to help to create those materials.

  • Supplies and Equipment The Union and employees will not use state-purchased supplies or equipment to conduct union business or representational activities. This does not preclude the use of the telephone for representational activities if there is no cost to the Employer, the call is brief in duration and it does not disrupt or distract from the Employer’s business.

  • Vehicles and Equipment Consultant will furnish all vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials used to provide the Services required by this Agreement. Client will not require Consultant to rent or purchase any equipment, product, or service as a condition of entering into this Agreement.

  • Safe Equipment The City shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment provided by the City.

  • STANDARD EQUIPMENT All items of standard equipment which are provided by the OEM shall be furnished unless such items are expressly deleted by the Authorized User or are specified to be other than standard in the Mini-Bid. When Optional equipment is specified, all components listed in the OEM’s data book as being included with the Option shall be furnished.

  • Supplies and Materials The Service Provider shall make available certain materials and supplies to the Customer for use in introducing VINE to the community. The creation of print, radio and television PSAs is included in the fees.

  • Stored equipment We accept no responsibility for any stored equipment or other property brought on to or left at the premises, and all liability for loss or damage is hereby excluded. All equipment and other property (other than stored equipment) must be removed at the end of each hiring or we will charge fees each day or part of a day at the hire fee per hiring until the same is removed. We may, in our discretion, dispose of any items referred to below by sale or otherwise on such terms and conditions as we think fit, and charge you any costs we incur in storing and selling or otherwise disposing of the same, in any of the following circumstances:

  • Facilities and Equipment Except as set forth herein, Consultant shall, at its sole cost and expense, provide all facilities and equipment that may be necessary to perform the services required by this Agreement. City shall make available to Consultant only the facilities and equipment listed in this section, and only under the terms and conditions set forth herein. City shall furnish physical facilities such as desks, filing cabinets, and conference space, as may be reasonably necessary for Consultant’s use while consulting with City employees and reviewing records and the information in possession of the City. The location, quantity, and time of furnishing those facilities shall be in the sole discretion of City. In no event shall City be obligated to furnish any facility that may involve incurring any direct expense, including but not limited to computer, cellular telephone, long-distance telephone, or other communication charges, vehicles, and reproduction facilities. If the performance of the work specified in Exhibit A requires destructive testing or other work within the City’s public right-of-way, Consultant, or Consultant’s subconsultant, shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City.

  • Equipment and Materials Contractor at its sole cost and expense shall provide and furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation services and any other items (collectively, "Equipment") which are required or necessary to perform the Services in a manner which is consistent with generally accepted standards of the profession for similar services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, District shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or property as a result of the use, misuse or failure of any Equipment used by Contractor of the Contracted Parties, even if such Equipment is furnished, rented or loaned to Contractor or the Contracted Parties by District. Furthermore, any Equipment or workmanship that does not conform to the regulations of this Agreement may be rejected by District and in such case must be promptly remedied or replaced by Contractor at no additional cost to District and subject to District’s reasonable satisfaction.

  • Services, Materials, and Equipment Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall provide and assume full responsibility for all services, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities, and all other facilities, incidentals, and services necessary for the construction, performance, testing, start-up, inspection and completion of the Work.

  • Equipment Supplies and Property The Grantee shall have a property management system that meets federal requirements as stated by this Contract and WIC program policy. Items to be used for the originally authorized purpose as long as needed for that purpose, during which time the Grantee not dispose of or encumber its title or other interests. Grantee will not encumber equipment purchased with System Agency funds without prior written approval from the System Agency.
