Common use of INTERVENING HOLIDAYS Clause in Contracts

INTERVENING HOLIDAYS. If a paid holiday occurs during the vacation week and an employee has fulfilled the regulations in respect to statutory holiday pay he shall be entitled to an additional day off with pay in lieu of the statutory holiday, such day to be mutually agreed upon with the employee. If a paid holiday occurs during the shutdown period, the Employer and the Union will mutually agree upon which day the plant will be closed.
