Job Enhancement. The Employer shall inaugurate and maintain a program of job exchanges so that every regular employee shall, according to provisions of seniority and without affecting the rate of pay, have the opportunity to obtain a basic understanding of the Regional Library system. Each job enhancement will be scheduled for a maximum of seven (7) hours.
Job Enhancement. Management recognizes that assignments to higher grade position, duties, and/or training may ultimately lead to new or better job opportunities. Merit promotion procedures will apply when appointed as understudy, or hired at less than a full performance trainee.
