Joint Health and Safety Committee Training. The Company agrees to allow two (2) worker members selected by the Union who currently have a minimum of one (1) year on a Joint Health and Safety Committee from each store to attend one (1) day of paid health and safety training per year conducted by the Union. It is agreed that the Union will provide to the Employer with a copy of all training material that will be covered prior to such training. The Company shall be advised of the date and time of the training sessions and be provided a list of all attendees a minimum of 4 weeks in advance. The Company reserves the right to attend. The Company agrees to ensure that attendees are available to attend this training.

Joint Health and Safety Committee Training. In addition to JHSC certification training, CAMI agrees to provide further health and safety training to the JHSC representatives and JHSC alternate representatives. The training provided is intended to increase competency in completion of daily activities, while performing the functions of H&S representative. Appropriate training will be identified by the JHSC. Courses at accredited community colleges, universities, or safety related conferences will be considered.

  • Joint Health and Safety Committee i) Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Joint Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative selected or appointed by the Association from amongst bargaining unit employees from each Hospital site. Hospitals will choose either to include a representative from the bargaining unit from each Hospital site, or to have a separate Joint Health and Safety Committee at each Hospital site, unless the parties agree otherwise.

Xxxxxxx shall prepare and submit under separate cover from the Work Plan, a Health and Safety Plan consistent with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently.
