Journeymen - Definition. The company and the union agree that the following represents our understanding that "Journeyman" is defined as any person: (a) who has served a bona fide apprenticeship (meeting the apprenticeship standards established by the Federal Committee on Apprenticeship) and has a certificate which substantiates a claim on such service. (b) who has had eight (8) years practical experience in the trade and can establish satisfactory proof thereof, and (c) who has experience and training equivalent to that required in a bona fide apprenticeship course as set forth in 17 (a). Departments initiating a change to the overtime pass will be responsible for the notification to all affected employees. The overtime pass shall be posted Thursday prior to the weekly scheduled overtime. In accordance with Article IV, Section 6, of the Master Agreement, pertaining to Overtime Agreement, this Agreement is signed subject to the approval of the National Ford Department of the UAW and Ford Labor Affairs.
