Jury Duty/Court Appearance Leave. A. A bargaining unit member who is summoned and reports for jury duty shall be paid by the District an amount equal to the difference between the amount of wages the bargaining unit member otherwise would have normally earned by working for the District on that day (based on the bargaining unit member's regularly scheduled hours) and the daily jury fee [or witness fee, if (B) below applies] paid by the Court (not including travel allowances or reimbursements of expense), for each day on which he/she reports for or performs jury duty and on which he/she otherwise would have been scheduled to work.
