Jury Duty/Subpoena Leave. a. When unit members are called to jury duty, the district agrees to grant leave of absence without loss of pay to the unit member for the time the unit member is required to perform jury duty. Unit members must inform the district of serving date(s) upon receiving the notice from officers of the court. Unit members who teach evening classes are excused from work under these rules.
