Juveniles. Nothing in this agreement shall affect the arrangements for the running of the juvenile estate funded by the Youth Justice Board (YJB) under a separate Service Level Agreement with HMPS. The YJB will be consulted on changes and developments, and are expected to work in partnership with PCTs in planning and delivering services.
Juveniles. Juvenile employees shall receive the following percentage of the adult rate of pay of the classification applicable: 16 years and under = 50% 17 years = 60% 18 years and over =100% The employer shall consult with the Consultative Committee for the relevant area as to the suitability of such tasks for juveniles.
Juveniles. A Juvenile shall mean a person under twenty years of age.
Juveniles. When a SRO arrests or takes a juvenile under the age of 16 into custody, he/she shall select the least restrictive of the following courses of action which is appropriate under the circumstances and meets the immediate needs of the juvenile and the school:
Juveniles. The minimum rate of wages which juveniles (not doing work usually performed by adults) will be the following percentage of minimum weekly wage for the classification grade under which the juvenile is employed: 16 years of age and under 60% 17 years of age 70% 18 years of age Adult Rates
Juveniles. 2.12.1 Provided that where there is no express provision in this Agreement that juveniles may be employed on a particular task, the employer shall consult with the union as to the suitability of such tasks for juveniles.
2.12.2 Except as provided in this clause, and unless a contrary intention appears, the terms and conditions prescribed by this Agreement shall apply to juveniles as well as adults.
2.12.3 Either the rates in clause 3.8 (Juveniles) or the training wage in clause 2.1.1 shall apply to juveniles, not both.
Juveniles. When an SRO arrests or takes a juvenile under the age of 17 into custody, the SRO shall contact the juvenile office for appropriate actions.
Juveniles. 14.1 Notwithstanding anything otherwise prescribed in this Agreement, any juvenile eighteen years of age or over may be employed under any classification in this Agreement, and provided that the juvenile is able and willing and is required to perform the full range of work covered by the classification shall be entitled to the adult rate appropriate to the classification.
14.2 A juvenile, other than a juvenile provided for under clause 14.1, employed in any classification in this Agreement shall be paid the following ordinary weekly wage rate. 14.3 A juvenile under eighteen years of age may be employed in any classification of this Agreement on work suitable for a juvenile under eighteen years of age, including (without limiting the generality of the foregoing) work involving the use of a knife or chopper, but no person under the age of sixteen years may be employed on the xxxxxxxxx-floor.
14.4 Except as provided in this clause, the terms and conditions prescribed by this Agreement shall apply to juveniles as well as adults.
Juveniles. A juvenile shall be paid the following percentage of the ordinary hourly rates prescribed in this Agreement:- Percent Under 17 years of age 60% At 17 years of age 75% At 18 years of age 100%
Juveniles. The Society may insure the lives and disability of children younger than the minimum age for Benefit Member- ship. Such insurance shall be issued on the application of an adult person who shall not by reason thereof, nor by reason of any benefit providing waiver of premium, become a Benefit Member. At the age of 16, the insured shall become a Benefit Member.
