Labor/Materials Marketplace Survey. If indicated in the Task Order for an Assigned Project, the CM shall survey the existing labor and materials marketplace conditions in the locality of the Assigned Project to ascertain the availability of suitable labor and materials necessary to complete Project construction within the time established by the District. The CM shall provide the District Representative with a written evaluation of the extent of available and suitable labor/materials to complete construction of the Assigned Project within the District’s Construction Budget and time objectives for an Assigned Project and whether in the CM’s opinion the CM anticipates that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials will adversely impact the costs/time for completing construction of the Assigned Project. If the CM concludes that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials may have an adverse impact on costs/time for completing construction of the Assigned Project, the CM’s written evaluation shall include recommendations for measures to mitigate or eliminate such potential adverse impacts to costs/time. The CM shall implement such measures as directed or authorized by the District.

Within thirty (30) days of the Notice to Proceed for the First Component of the Project, the CM shall complete the labor/materials marketplace survey and provide the Owner’s Representatives with a written evaluation of the extent of available and suitable labor/materials and whether the CM anticipates that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials will impact the costs/time for completion of Project construction. If the CM concludes that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials may have an adverse impact on costs/time for completion of Project construction, the CM’s written evaluation shall include recommendations for measures to mitigate such potential adverse impacts to costs/time.
Labor/Materials Marketplace Survey. XXXX shall survey the existing labor and materials marketplace conditions in the locality of the Project to ascertain the availability of suitable labor and materials necessary to complete Project construction as outlined in the scope of work. Within thirty (30) Days of the date indicated in the Project Milestone Schedule attached as Attachment 6 for the Agency to issue a Notice to Proceed for Pre-Construction Services, the XXXX shall complete the labor/materials marketplace survey and provide the Agency with a written evaluation of the extent of available and suitable labor/materials and whether the XXXX anticipates that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials will impact the costs/time for completion of Project construction. If the XXXX concludes that the extent of available and suitable labor/materials may have an adverse impact on costs/time for completion of Project construction, the XXXX’x written evaluation shall include recommendations for measures to mitigate such potential adverse impacts to costs/time. XXXX must continually review the Design Documents to identify long lead procurement items (manufactured/fabricated items, equipment, materials and supplies) for the Project. Long lead items should be identified in the bid packages and Project schedule prepared by XXXX. If authorized by the Agency, XXXX will ensure that it procures long-lead items prior to bidding bid packages. XXXX shall track progress of the manufacturing or fabricating these long lead items and advise the Agency of any problems or possible delays in delivery. Agency reserves the right to procure any and all the materials and equipment required for the Project.

  • MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP Unless otherwise specified, all materials and equipment incorporated in the work under the Contract shall be new. All workmanship shall be first class and by persons qualified in the respective trades.

  • Materials and Supplies The cost of materials and supplies is allowable. Purchases should be charged at their actual prices after deducting all cash discounts, trade discounts, rebates, and allowances received. Withdrawals from general stores or stockrooms should be charged at cost under any recognized method of pricing, consistently applied. Incoming transportation charges are a proper part of materials and supply costs.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) Capability A wind generating plant shall be able to remain online during voltage disturbances up to the time periods and associated voltage levels set forth in the standard below. The LVRT standard provides for a transition period standard and a post-transition period standard.

  • Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. Wet Weather All protective clothing such as wet weather jackets, safety helmets, welding jackets, welding xxxxxxx, welding gauntlets, rubber boots, etc, (which remain the property of the Company), will be supplied on all occasions deemed necessary.

  • COVID-19 Protocols Contractor will abide by all applicable COVID-19 protocols set forth in the District’s Reopening and COVID-19 Mitigation Plan and the safety guidelines for COVID-19 prevention established by the California Department of Public Health and the Ventura County Department of Public Health.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • Materials and Improvements Title to materials, improvements, and other property required of PURCHASER by this contract shall vest in and become the property of STATE at the time such are furnished by PURCHASER and accepted by STATE. Only materials, improvements, and property free and clear of liens, claims, and encumbrances shall be furnished by PURCHASER. All existing improvements located on State land, and any improvements placed on State land by PURCHASER which become the property of STATE, shall be safeguarded by PURCHASER. If such improvements are injured, damaged, or removed from the areas of operations by PURCHASER or by contractors of PURCHASER, such improvements shall be repaired (or replaced, in the event of removal,) as soon as possible by PURCHASER, without cost to STATE.
