Landscape Materials. Landscape materials shall be consistent with BDMC 18.72.020 (Exhibit “E”), with the following additional restriction: sixty‐five percent (65%) of all plant materials must be drought tolerant.
Landscape Materials. Landscape materials shall consist of the following and are described in more detail in the Plant Materials List, (see Exhibit 1.0) and also available at the Planning Commission Office.
Landscape Materials. Landscape materials, consistent with the City Land Development Code shall be constructed and maintained consistent with the Concept Plan as shown in Exhibit C. Shrubs shall be planted at 36” on centers, except in areas covered by Section “E” of the Conceptual Landscape Plan where shrubs may be planted at 5’-0” on centers. Shade trees shall be provided in all landscape islands, except in areas under the bridge, where understory trees shall be planted in each island. Trees will be provided at 25- foot intervals in the perimeter buffer areas outlined above. At least one- half of the required perimeter shall be shade trees at least three inch caliper, as measured four and one-half feet above grade and shall be fourteen feet minimum height. The remaining trees may be understory trees with the same caliper at heights proportionate to their species (per “Grades and Standards of Nursery PlantsCurrent Edition. The Palm Harbor Parkway buffer shall require understory trees at least one and one-half inch caliper as measured four and one-half feet above grade and being eight feet minimum height per City requirements.
Landscape Materials. Deciduous trees, such as cottonwood, and evergreen trees, such as pinion pines, provide summer shade or can be used as a windbreak. Evergreens provide good backdrops for displaying ornamental trees and contrasting flowers as well as providing a visual screen.‌ A. Shrubs such as junipers may be used as specimens or in masses. Shrubs can also be used in combination with trees as windbreaks or to add color and B. Ornamental trees such as flowering crabapples provide accent, color, and additional interest to the residential landscape and may be a more appropriate scale for small areas of a lot. C. Groundcovers such as creeping mahonia play an important role in consolidating the surface of fine-grained soils to prevent erosion and sedimentation. They may be useful in place of a lawn, especially on steep banks where they will also require less water than turfgrass. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ may be used as a groundcover or as a shading element over a trellis or as a screen when planted adjacent to a fence. E. Garden flowers may be used as elements of seasonal color. Perennials and annuals should be considered. F. Vegetable gardens may be integrated with planting beds and used ornamentally.

  • Construction materials (1) The restrictions of section 1605 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Pub. L. 111-5) (Recovery Act) do not apply to Recovery Act designated country manufactured construction material. The restrictions of the Buy American statute do not apply to designated country unmanufactured construction material.
