Language Assistance Resources. Based on the language needs assessment conducted pursuant to Section IV.C., of this Agreement, MDHS-DFCS shall annually determine what resources and arrangements are needed to provide sufficient language assistance services in a timely manner for oral and written communication. MDHS-DFCS shall utilize appropriate staff and outside agencies as required to provide necessary services.

Language Assistance Resources. To ensure that language resources are sufficient, competent, and appropriate, OIM will continue to take the following steps: 1. Within 30 calendar days of the Effective Date of this Agreement, OIM will assess the need to purchase additional dual handset telephones to ensure that they are readily available to appropriate staff for telephonic interpretation. OIM shall ensure that, at a minimum, a dual handset telephone is available at each local county assistance and district office. 2. OIM will continue to evaluate the need for bilingual staff at county assistance office locations and to work with Human Resources to recruit specific bilingual staff at locations where it is deemed a bilingual staff member would be beneficial based on the language needs of the local county assistance office. OIM will operate within the guidelines for recruitment of bilingual staff as outlined by Human Resources within the Office of Administration. 3. Within 60 calendar days of the Effective Date of this Agreement, OIM will ensure that each local county assistance and district office review and update, as necessary, a list identifying all language assistance resources specifically available to local office staff to the extent that such local services and resources are available in the local area. To ensure all staff have sufficient resources available to assist LEP individuals, the list shall be disseminated as outlined to all staff that interact with the public and shall include the name and telephone number of every language assistance resource available to the office staff. Based on the language needs assessment conducted pursuant to Section IV.F of this Agreement, OIM will periodically determine what resources and arrangements are needed to provide sufficient and competent language assistance services in a timely manner for oral and written communication. OIM shall utilize appropriate staff and outside agencies as required to provide necessary services.

C. of this Agreement, RIDHS shall determine, within twelve (12) months of the Effective Date of the Agreement and annually thereafter what resources and arrangements are needed to provide sufficient language assistance services in a timely manner for oral and written communication. RIDHS shall utilize the methods as specified in Section IV. F. 1. of the Agreement to provide necessary services.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by VarTec for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by VarTec, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit VarTec to route the VarTec Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by VarTec. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by VarTec and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at VarTec's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, VarTec will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. VarTec shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to VarTec’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Audit Assistance Each of the Parties and their respective Subsidiaries are or may be subject to regulation and audit by a Governmental Authority (including a Taxing Authority), standards organizations, customers or other parties to contracts with such Parties or their respective Subsidiaries under applicable Law, standards or contract provisions. If a Governmental Authority, standards organization, customer or other party to a contract with a Party or its Subsidiary exercises its right to examine or audit such Party’s or its Subsidiary’s books, records, documents or accounting practices and procedures pursuant to such applicable Law, standards or contract provisions, and such examination or audit relates to the Services, then the other Party shall provide, at the sole cost and expense of the requesting Party, all assistance reasonably requested by the Party that is subject to the examination or audit in responding to such examination or audits or requests for Information, to the extent that such assistance or Information is within the reasonable control of the cooperating Party and is related to the Services.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s). Section 2. No information gathered by an Employee Assistance Program may be used to discipline an employee. Section 3. Employees shall be entitled to use accrued sick leave for participation in an Employee Assistance Program. Section 4. Each university will offer training to local Union Stewards on the Employee Assistance Program available in their university, on university time, where an Employee Assistance Program is available.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The District will provide an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which allows each employee to refer themselves confidentially to the EAP provider. To protect confidentiality, any data which the provider transmits to the District shall be summary only. The Employee Assistance Plan will include individual and/or family counseling.

  • Termination Assistance Services Following the termination of this Agreement and/or any Ordering Document, the Parties may agree for Axway to provide transition services pursuant to a duly executed SOW, during which time this Agreement will continue in full force and effect solely to the extent necessary to allow such transition services to be performed. Axway agrees that the costs for any such services shall be comparable to the fees charged to other customers for similar types of services.
