Language Premium Pay Sample Clauses

Language Premium Pay. The City shall pay an additional four percent (4%) above the employee’s base hourly wage to employees fluent in a language other than English (such as Spanish, Russian, or American Sign Language) if the City determines the second language is beneficial to operations. The City will establish a process to determine an employee’s fluency.
Language Premium Pay. Association members who are proficient in another language that is required by the City will receive an additional $1.15 added to the member’s base hourly rate of pay. The premium shall be paid for all hours worked, including overtime.
