Layoff Recall. I. When, in the sole opinion of the DISTRICT, it is necessary to reduce the working force of the DISTRICT, temporary employees in each job shall be laid off first. Employees who have not completed their probationary period in each job family shall be laid off next before any permanent employees are laid off. If a further need to reduce the work force exists, employees shall be laid off in an inverse order of seniority, by classification.
