Leave for Medical and Dental Appointment. This will confirm the Queen’s Printer will continue its past practice of allowing employees a reasonable amount of time off with pay to attend medical and dental appointments where it is not possible to schedule such appointments outside of regular scheduled working hours. It is understood that employees are expected to make every effort to schedule their appointments outside of the normal hours of work, particularly those employees on the modified work schedule of a four (4) and a four and one half (4.5) day work week. It is understood that any issues or concerns which arise will be reviewed by the Director of the Queen’s Printer and the applicable shop xxxxxxx upon request.

Leave for Medical and Dental Appointment. (Employees hired before Ratification) Employees shall be allowed paid leave of absence up to two (2) work days (fourteen(14) hours for employees whose regular work hours are 1820 hours per year and sixteen(16) hours for employees whose regular work hours are 2080 hours per year) per year in order to engage in personal preventative medical and dental care. Such leave will be debited against sick leave credits. For Local 99 members, this time is inclusive of the four (4) hours outlined in Article 30.10 (a) of the Local 99 collective agreement.
Leave for Medical and Dental Appointment. Employees shall be allowed up to thirty-two (32) hours paid leave from work annually to attend personal medical or dental appointments which cannot be booked outside of working hours. The employee shall advise Management as soon as possible of the time and date of such an appointment. Such paid leave granted shall be deducted from accumulated sick-leave credits and shall be limited to the time required to attend the appointment plus reasonable travel time.

The Supplier shall pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to a Sub-Contractor within thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice. Undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for the Supplier failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed. Notwithstanding any provision of Clauses 9.2 (Confidentiality) and 13 (Publicity, Media and Official Enquiries) if the Supplier notifies the Customer that the Supplier has failed to pay an undisputed Sub-Contractor’s invoice within thirty (30) days of receipt, or the Customer otherwise discovers the same, the Customer shall be entitled to publish the details of the late or non-payment (including on Government websites and in the press).

  • Fixed Term Appointment (a) An employee and an employer may agree that the employment of the employee will end:

  • Duration of Appointment The Employment shall be deemed to have commenced on the Commencement Date and shall continue unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
