Leave of Absence for Union Functions. Leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority shall be granted, upon request to the Employer, to a maximum of one (1) employee away at any one time elected or appointed to represent the Union at Union conventions. Leave of absence without pay shall be granted to employees to attend Executive and Committee meetings of CUPE, its affiliated or chartered bodies. Such leave shall have a maximum of thirty (30) person days per year.
