The provisions of this Act, or any amendments or Act passed in substitution for this Act, shall apply.

Leave to Attend Employment Relations’ Education Leave. 7.5.1 Employers shall grant paid Employment Relations Education Leave (EREL) to members of the PSA covered by the Agreement in accordance with the provisions of Part 7 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. The purpose of this leave is for improving relations among unions, employees, and the employer and for promoting the object of the Act.
Leave to Attend Employment Relations’ Education Leave. Employers shall grant paid Employment Relations Education Leave to members of the PSA covered by the Agreement in accordance with the provisions of Part 7 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. The purpose of this leave is for improving relations among unions, employees and the employer and for promoting the object of the Act. EREL: the number of days education leave granted is based on the formula of 35 days for the first 281 employees (employees covered by this document who have authorised the PSA to act on their behalf) and a further 5 days for every 100 full time equivalent (defined as an employee who works 30 hours or more per week) eligible employees or part of the number which exceeds 280. The PSA shall send a copy of the programme for the course and the names of employees attending, at least 28 consecutive days prior to the course commencing. The granting of such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld taking into account continuing service needs.

  • Employment Relations Education Leave 26.1 The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace.   • Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.

  • TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.

  • Restricted Employment for Certain State Personnel Contractor acknowledges that, pursuant to Section 572.069 of the Texas Government Code, a former state officer or employee of a state agency who during the period of state service or employment participated on behalf of a state agency in a procurement or contract negotiation involving Contractor may not accept employment from Contractor before the second anniversary of the date the Contract is signed or the procurement is terminated or withdrawn.
