Examples of Education Leave in a sentence
The Employer agrees to pay into a special fund an amount of three cents ($.03) per hour for all compensated hours to provide for a Unifor Paid Education Leave (PEL) program.
When an employee goes on approved Education Leave, upon completion of the leave they will return to their former position.
Such issues may include, but not be limited to, those arising out of Articles 2.6 (Recognition and Rights of Stewards), 2.10 (Time Off for Union Business), 18 (Vacation Entitlement), 19 (Education Leave), 20 (Special and Other Leave), 21 (Maternity, Parental and Adoption Leave) and 28 (Sick Leave).
Education Leave must be taken during the calendar year and no carryover to future calendar years is allowed.
The Education Leave Committee shall review and recommend education leave applications, at least once a year, to the appropriate Vice President.
