Leave Without Pay for Relocation of Spouse. The Employer shall grant leave without pay for a period of one (1) 1 year, at the request in writing of an employee whose spouse's position is permanently relocated or who accepts an appointment to another position either:outside the employee's headquarters area. If the employee does not obtain another position within the one year period, the employee shall cease to be an employee at the end of the approved period of leave without pay.
