The Company shall reimburse Officers eighty-five dollars (one hundred dollars after October 3 for the purchase of approved safety footwear. The Company may designate the type of appropriate approved footwear. This allowance will be applicable to one pair of safety footwear per season and can be obtained by verifying the approval and submitting to the Manager Marine Operations or the Manager marine Maintenance an original invoice of purchase attached to a Company Expense Report. Should an employee terminate or be dismissed prior to working sixty continuous days, the footwear allowance received will be deducted from the Officer. The Company shall supply one hard hat each operating season to Officers required to wear them. Hard hats shall be turned in at the conclusion of the season or upon termination of employment. Legal Insurance. The Hospital is willing to offer legal insurance to bargaining unit employees on the same basis and under the same conditions as classified employees. Any modifications to or elimination of this benefit shall automatically apply on the same terms to bargaining unit employees without bargaining the decision and/or the effects of the decision.
