Common use of Limited Duration Positions Clause in Contracts

Limited Duration Positions. A limited duration appointment may be used when uncertain or limited funding, i.e., grant- funded, contract, award or legislative funding for a specific project, become available to LCOG, or to provide coverage for an employee or employees on extended leave(s) of absence or temporary reduction(s) in FTE. A limited duration appointment shall not exceed two (2) years in length.
