Local wage deal. The wage deal shall be negotiated locally, taking into consideration the com- pany’s or workplace’s situation and circumstances. In good time before the ne- gotiations, the employer shall provide the shop xxxxxxx with the necessary in- formation on the company’s or workplace’s economic situation and its foreseen development. Information about the grounds of the proposal concerning the wage deal should also be provided as the basis of the negotiations. The objective of local negotiations is to find a wage deal which reflects the cir- cumstances and needs of each company or workplace. The wage deal should support incentives for wage formulation, fair pay structures and the staggering of wage rates as well as improving productivity at the workplace. The local wage deal shall cover the manner of implementation of the wage re- visions, their timing and amount. The agreement shall be concluded with the shop xxxxxxx or, if none has been elected, with the senior salaried employees and in a way that has been mutually agreed. Unless the parties agree that more time is needed, the agreement shall be concluded in writing by 30 April 2023.

The Contractor will ensure that it (and its personnel) comply with the requirements of the Child Protection Laws and policies of the DoE relating to child protection as notified to the Contractor from time to time. The Contractor must, at the Contractor’s expense, certify that the Contractor and the Contractor’s personnel are not a prohibited person under any Child Protection Laws and undergo any other screening, such as the ‘Working with Children Check’, as required under Child Protection Laws or by the School (or DoE). Any of the Contractor’s personnel that is a prohibited person under any Child Protection Laws must not be engaged in providing any Services. The Contractor is to immediately advise the Department if it becomes aware that it (or its personnel) are the subject of a reportable allegation involving children.

  • OVERDRAFT PROTECTION To the extent permitted by law, You authorize Us to transfer funds from other Accounts You may have with Us in necessary multiples (or in such increments as We may from time to time determine) to Your Account to cover any overdraft. If You have a line of credit with Us, transfers will be made first from Your primary share Account, provided You have enough available funds in that Account, then from Your line of credit up to Your available credit limit, and then We may elect to pay such overdraft, subject to any preference You have indicated to Us for clearing any overdraft(s). Overdraft transfers are subject to a transfer fee. You hold Us harmless from any and all liability which might otherwise exist if a transfer does not occur.

  • Assault Leave 1. An employee of Alliance City Schools who, without fault, must be absent due to physical disability resulting from an assault which occurs in the course of Board employment while on duty on school grounds during school hours or where required to be in attendance at a school sponsored function shall, after using all or three (3) days of accumulated and unused sick leave, whichever is less, be eligible for assault leave. [When an employee has no accumulated sick leave, three days of sick leave will be advanced.] Assault leave shall be granted for the period of physical disability not to exceed one-hundred eighty (180) school days upon the member's delivering to the Superintendent a signed statement indicating the nature of the injury, the date of its occurrence, the identity of the individual(s) causing the assault and the facts surrounding the assault. If medical attention is required, the member shall supply a certificate from a licensed physician stating the nature of the disability and its anticipated duration. 2. Full payment for assault leave, less Worker's Compensation, shall not exceed the member's per diem rate of pay exclusive of supplementary pay and will not be approved for payment unless and until the statement and certificate, as provided above, are submitted to the Superintendent. Falsification of either the signed statement or a physician's certificate is grounds for suspension or termination of employment under Section 3319.16 of the Ohio Revised Code. 3. Where the member exhausts his/her assault leave, he/she may use sick leave for the period of physical disability. If sick leave and the assault leave provided for herein become exhausted, the member may apply for further assault leave. Whether such additional assault leave is granted shall be determined solely by the Board in its discretion. Where the assaulted member becomes eligible for benefits under the State Teachers' Retirement System because of any disability or because of age or where the member's employment by the Board ceases for any reason whatsoever, this leave provision shall no longer apply and any assault leave payments shall automatically terminate.

  • Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 Contractor certifies that it does not and will not during the performance of the contract knowingly employee unauthorized alien workers or otherwise violate the provisions of the Federal Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

  • Job Protection 15.9.1 Subject to 15.10 below, an employee returning from parental leave is entitled to resume work in the same position or a similar position to the one they occupied at the time of commencing parental leave. A similar position means a position: (a) At the equivalent salary, grading; (b) At the equivalent weekly hours of duty; (c) In the same location or other location within reasonable commuting distance; and (d) Involving responsibilities broadly comparable to those experienced in the previous position. 15.9.2 Where applicable, employees shall continue to be awarded increments when their incremental date falls during absence on parental leave.

  • Civil Leave A. A bargaining unit member subpoenaed to appear in court for a work-related matter or serve on jury duty shall be granted leave without loss of pay. A copy of the court summons, subpoena, or letter from the court requesting the bargaining unit member’s presence must be submitted to administration. B. When a bargaining unit member is scheduled to be absent and such appearance in court is negated or the bargaining unit member is excused in such time to return to his/her work site for the remainder of his/her workday, then he/she is required to do so.
