Common use of Loss of Driver's Licence Clause in Contracts

Loss of Driver's Licence. The Company and the Union recognize that the suspension of a driver's licence in many cases reduces the usefulness of an employee in his or her work. However, in some instances, adjustments in work assignments may be made to enable the employee to perform his or her normal level of duties. Each case will be carefully reviewed locally on its own merits with a view to, wherever practical, maintaining the employee's normal pay level or minimize any pay reduction necessitated by the employee's inability to perform his or her full range of duties.
