SAFETY APPAREL. The company agrees to supply any safety equipment required by employees, in accordance with occupational health and safety requirements.
SAFETY APPAREL. 17.01 Safety boots will be supplied for all employees with 1000 hours worked and every 12 months thereafter to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) upon presentation of a receipt. Approved by CSA (Safety Boots) and Omega Electrical Ratings.
17.02 The Employer shall provide free of cost to the employee all personal protective equipment that is required to perform the work required or to protect themselves in their work environment including winter and summer coveralls or uniforms and shall replace, when necessary, rain wear, rubber boots, safety goggles, gloves, rubber gloves, high voltage gloves, dust masks and safety goggles where same are necessary. Employees are responsible for above equipment.
SAFETY APPAREL a. Boots - The City agrees to pay three-hundred dollars ($300.00) annually toward the purchase of steel-toed safety boots worn by Public Works Division. Employees will receive the boot pay upon hire. Employees receiving a protective safety footwear allowance are required to wear the proper protective footwear provided by this benefit while performing their respective work duties.
SAFETY APPAREL. The Employer shall provide safety apparel required by state or federal law, OSHA standards or the Employer for the required work. An employee who fails to use safety apparel or equipment as instructed by the employer may be subject to discipline, up to and including dismissal.
SAFETY APPAREL. The Company will introduce an annual reimbursement assistance in the amount of $225 (inclusive of tax) per employee per year to support employee purchase of safety boots and/or other reflectorized personal protective equipment or safety apparel traditionally not supplied by the Company, which must be approved by the Company. Reimbursement will require the submission of receipts on the approved form.
SAFETY APPAREL. The Board may require its employees to wear any safety equipment necessary to insure safety to its employees at all times. Failure to comply shall constitute reasonable cause for discipline up to and including discharge. Such equipment shall be purchased by the Board.
SAFETY APPAREL. The Company agrees to supply any safety equipment required by employees. On commencement, a safety vest, (with retro-reflective tape attached to the torso area of the garment), a company shirt and a hat will be provided.
SAFETY APPAREL. (a) To protect against injury, all plant employees must wear and use CSA and Company approved safety equipment including safety footwear, in addition to specific safety equipment which will be or may be made mandatory for employees working in specific areas or operations.
(b) (i) The Company will distribute on an as required basis necessary safety apparel and equipment. The Company will provide free of charge, on loan, the following safety apparel and equipment: 1 rubber boots, 2 welding gloves, 3 aprons, 4 jackets, 5 rain suits, 6 hard hats, 7 winter hard hat liners, 8 goggles, 9 safety glasses, 10 heat mitts, 11 chainsaw pants and mitts, 12 face xxxxxxx, 13 dust masks, and 14 ear protection.
SAFETY APPAREL. All employees shall be issued safety apparel appropriate to the task assigned as designated by the appointing authority. Safety equipment provided for under this Article will be reissued as needed upon certification by the department head.
SAFETY APPAREL. Upon receipt of proof of purchase, the Town shall reimburse Highway, Water, Code Enforcement and Parks Department employees who are required to wear safety equipment, up to two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per calendar year toward the purchase of safety equipment. The equipment that qualifies for this benefit is included in a separate list agreed to by the Department Head, Unit President, Town Comptroller, and kept by the Town Comptroller.
