Loss or Suspension of Commercial Driver’s License. An employee who is required to possess a Commercial Driver’s License in order to perform certain job duties and responsibilities must immediately notify the Superintendent of Highways in the event the employee’s driver’s license is suspended, revoked, or if the employee is otherwise disqualified from driving. The loss or suspension of the employee’s driver’s license may affect the employee’s employment with the Town. In accordance with the federal Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act, an employee who is required to possess a Commercial Driver’s License must notify the Superintendent of Highways within thirty calendar days of a conviction of any traffic violation (except parking) no matter where or what type of vehicle the employee was driving.
